What are the laws governing guns in schools, and how do these apply to students, staff and the public?
The Oregon School Boards Association has created a frequently asked questions (FAQ) resource to address these questions. Go to: http://www.osba.org/Resources/Article/Legal/Guns_in_schools_FAQ.aspx
The Sheridan Spartan Academy (formerly Opportunity House) alternative program is designed to meet the academic and emotional needs of students who want to earn a Sheridan diploma. Located at Sheridan High School, our program is designed to meet the unique needs of pregnant or parenting teens, dropouts, over-age for grade students (two years or more), students who cannot earn credits at the regular high school, and students who are in danger of dropping out.
We currently have 60 slots for Sheridan Spartan Academy & House of Hope for the 2012/13 school year. If you are interested please read, complete, and return the enrollment form.
If you have questions about Sheridan Spartan Academy or House of Hope please check out our brochures.
