We would like to share with families and the public that Sheridan School District expects to fully reopen schools to full-day, five-day, in-person learning this fall.
We look forward to receiving updated guidance from the Department of Education on July 22. Then we will review the guidance and work with local public health officials to make health and safety decisions based on local health statistics.
We will keep you updated as we finalize those details in the coming weeks.
Sheridan Care TeamThe purpose of the careteam is to help students in need. Some students we have helped with this year include families in quarantine getting meals delivered, or providing some gift cards for groceries to families who have job loss. We've also in some cases met with students who are having mental health issues. In most cases we have referred students to either mental health counseling or the book mobile team to provide supplies the family needs. If the need that is referred to us doesn't fit what we do, we will still help and refer them to whatever help they might need. If you do have any questions, don't hesitate to email the careteam at firstname.lastname@example.org.
POTENTIAL ATHLETES: Check with the head coach of your sport(s) or with the athletic director to see what opportunities there are to participate this Fall as we prepare for an adjusted sports schedule later this year.
