Vision Services Available

We have some exciting news to share!
This fall, our district identified a significant vision‑access barrier: many of our students need follow‑up eye care, but availability in the valley is extremely limited. To address this, we partnered with several organizations to bring eye‑care services directly to the FCS campus. We also collaborated with our partners at Yamhill County to create a referral pathway for students to be seen by a provider in McMinnville.

If your student was referred during our vision screening OR you have concerns about their vision:Students with OHP/Medicaid
They are eligible to receive:

• A full comprehensive eye exam on campus this spring on campus, and
• A pair of glasses, provided through SWEEP Optical (who will also be on campus)

Students with any other insurance or OHP and you want to utilize a McMinnville provider: 
If your student was referred OR you have concerns and you’re having difficulty finding a provider, YCCO can accept the referral and assign a provider for an exam in a McMinnville office.
