I attended the Sheridan School District from Kindergarten until I graduated high school in 2001. Now my two oldest daughters attend Sheridan schools and my son will once he is old enough. My family owns a small farm outside of Sheridan in the Buell area where we manage cattle, goats, chickens, turkeys and trees. My husband and I also own a small woodworking business which I operate on the farm while my children are at school. I have also been very active in the Sheridan FFA Alumni over the years and have worked alongside many volunteers to keep that program strong for future students. I also serve as a 4-H leader in Polk County and currently hold the position of the Vice President of the Leaders Association. In the summers I travel a lot around Oregon and Washington judging goats and poultry at different county fairs which I have been doing for 18 years now. I am new to the school board but thankful I have an opportunity to make a difference in the very school district my children are growing up in.
